Construction began in 1979. Finished in 1982 at a cost of $45 million, the Seven Mile Bridge was the longest segmental bridge in the world. It rises 65 feet for boat clearance, making it the highest point in the Florida Keys.

A lot of tourists travel to see this.From April to May, the road from Bijodaira to Murodo runs between up to 20 meter high snow walls. The snow corridor is most spectacular around Murodo.

A daredevil stuntman has scaled a 10,000ft mountain – by creeping up a two-inch thick cable car wire.
Freddy Nock took 90 minutes to edge to the top of the Zugspitze mountain in south Bavaria – without any safety equipment.
Nock, who began his highwire career at the age of 11, said of his 3,000ft long trek: ‘I don’t want to do it again, not without a balancing pole. It was exhausting.’

Like giant goldfish, these massive whale sharks don't mind being fed hand to mouth by their fishermen friends.
Photographed near Oslob in the Philippines, the groundbreaking images show close relationship previously not thought possible.
Captured by conservationist Shawn Heinrichs, the once-in-a-lifetime behaviour of the half dozen whale sharks up to 25ft long and the 12 or so fishermen draws gasps of disbelief from casual observers.
The food-based friendship centres around the brine shrimp the fishermen are catching and the trust between man and the world's largest fish is evident to see.

The 'Ik Kil' cenote is open to the sky with the water level about 26 metres (85 ft) below ground level. There is a carved stairway down to a swimming platform. The cenote is about 60 metres (200 ft) in diameter and about 40 metres (130 ft) deep. There are vines which reach from the opening all the way down to the water along with small waterfalls. There are black catfish which swim in the cenote.The cenote is part of a larger complex of a restaurant, store, changing rooms, and cottages for rent.

The tourism at the site has been increasing, around 2012, the plateau was each year visited by between 150,000 and 200,000 people who took the 3.8 km (2.4 mi.) hike to Preikestolen, making it one of the most visited natural tourist attractions in Norway.

In this stunning capture by Ireena Worthy we see a small fir tree (which has become a bonsai) growing atop a dead log in the waters of Fairy Lake, which is near Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

Fairy Lake is a BC Forest Service campground located 110 km west of Victoria. It has an area of 82.3 acres (33.3 hectares) and it has a maximum depth of 18 feet and an elevation of 30 meters (98.4 ft.)
